Asana comes to So What Else from advocating for conflict prevention resources and funding in the House of Representatives and Senate as a Lobbyist and Program Assistant for Peacebuilding Policy at the Friends Committee on National Legislation (FCNL). She also represented the organization and presented the importance of citizens’ engagement in domestic and international policy to youth audiences at over twenty college and community events.

Asana graduated from St. Lawrence University with a Bachelor of Arts in Global Studies (focus on the impact of migration on youth and families) with a minor in Peace Studies.
